Tuesday January 31, 2012 3:00pm  A fire occurred at Leeward Auto Wreckers at 91-139 Hanua Street.  The Honolulu Fire Department has responded to the fire and is onsite to extinguish and investigate.

Tuessday November 29, 2011 11:15am  A structure fire occurred at 91-1080 Hanua Street. The Honolulu Fire Department responded and has extinguished the fire and will be investigating the cause.

Tuesday September 20, 2011 The Tesoro Refinery is shutting down their sulfur recovery unit, which is causing some odors to be detected within CIP.  Tesoro is monitoring the situation and are taking air samples to check the air quality during this process units shutdown.

Tuesday August 8, 2011 The Tesoro Refinery experienced an internal power outage this morning, which caused the shutdown of their processing units.  This upset condition caused flaring and plumes of smoke to be visible within the area.  Tesoro is in the process of getting the operations back online.

Thursday March 31, 2011 Due to a power outage within CIP, Chevron Refineries is experience upset conditions while they are trying to shutdown certain operations and f Flaring as well as smoke from their FCC is prominent and visible.

Thursday Januarry 6, 2011 Honolulu Fire Department attending to a large fire located on Oihana Street.  They have gotten the fire under control, but it is still smoldering and they are assessing the situation. The fire is located inside of a warehouse and surrounding businesses have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.
